| A Review of Chip's Show at Billy Bob's Secrets
in Atlanta, GA. |
| "This was Chip's first show in Atlanta
since signing with Stonewall Records - and the first Georgia
date of The Death of Chivalry Tour. It would be the first of
many homecomings for him....he performed at this club 10 years
previously - for $20...the most he'd ever been paid to sing
up to that point! The house was packed.... poker game in the
back.... in the middle of Disclosure a member of the audience
sent him 8 shots of Tequila! He stopped in the middle of the
chorus....licked, shot and sucked the limes of each ...one by
one...set down the 8th shot glass...smiled...and finished the
song. The crowd went wild!!! For those of you who were there....you
know that this was just the beginning... the after-show party
at the house of an anonymous fan (nope...I'm not saying who...but
if you were there you KNOW!) lasted until 3 AM. All I can tell
you is - never underestimate the value of a pool-side group
massage! |

| Chip Fountain performed at the Anchor
High Grill in Hendersonville, TN, Sunday night, Sept 22 and had folks
singing and dancing before the night was over. Chip played songs from
his new release, The Death of Chilvary, a number of songs to be released
on his next CD and also played a long set of covers from the Beatles
to Hank Williams Jr. and everything in between. Folks from across
the inlet were calling to see who was performing at the Marina. It
was an awesome night, enjoyed by all. He'll be back at the Marina
at the end of October. |
